what's the story
Automatic recliner seating has been a part of the living room culture for many years.  The popularity of specialty seating such as massage chairs, have attracted new and younger demographics.  These chairs often feature ugly and bulky remotes which incur hefty costs for manufacturers when upgrades are need to be made.  With industry trends pointing towards smart home solutions, my client Relaxor need to provide their clients with flexible options.

User Flow
How quickly can the user access the remote?  That is the question...  User must connect to chairs near by via Bluetooth.  Once paired with a chair, the remote can be accessed quickly.  Any delays or too many steps required in getting to the remote function will result in a bad user experience.
wireframing
Quick prototypes were made to test which layout worked best.  users prefer to see the main functions together, especially when 2 functions are pressed simultaneously.  The user might want the head rest and leg rest active at the same time.
functional prototype
Users need to pair their phone with the chair using Bluetooth.  Pairing should be a quick and intuitive process.
